My name is Brandon and I've had a passion for art from a young age. In my earlier years as an aspiring artist, I gravitated more towards working with ceramics; attending workshops in pottery, working in summer art programs, and taking independent study classes. I ultimately earned a degree Chemical Engineering along with a Minor in Fine Arts. In my early twenties, I had the chance to rekindle my love for art in the pieces seen here.
Over the years, my paintings have evolved into abstract studies examining geometric forms and color theory. The majority of my work is created using acrylic paint with an epoxy resin coating. In working through different iterations of my art, I've started experimenting with the layering and depth of resin applied to my pieces. My hope is that this adds a level of complexity in the overall design scheme. More recently I’ve started to experiment with dissecting, rearranging, and merging paintings to increase the design complexity even further.
